Are you self-employed and are you thinking of carrying out a self-consumption installation?
There is an aid program for self-consumption of the Recovery Plan through the IDAE from which you can benefit.
The self-employed are included as beneficiaries of the self-consumption promotion subprograms and may deploy self-consumption facilities in a workplace other than their home. In addition, the possibility is established that in the budget extensions a specific quota is reserved for them.
Measures covered by self-consumption
The measures covered by self-consumption aid include the following:
- For photovoltaic solar energy, aid ranges from 15%, for a large company, up to 45% for an SME or a system of less than 10 kW; individuals can benefit from 40%, 50%, in the case of collective self-consumption, and public administrations from 70%.
- In storage behind the counter, aid for companies varies between 45% and 65%, depending on the size, while individuals, administrations and the third sector benefit from 70%. The storage capacity that can be installed is made more flexible, going from 2 kWh/kW to 5 kWh/kW, in line with the growing generalization of storage solutions.
- In addition, and with the objective of facing the demographic challenge, all these concepts increase by 5% in those municipalities with less than 5,000 inhabitants and in municipalities with less than 20,000 inhabitants in rural areas whose different population centres have less than 5,000 population.
