In 2023, 50 million euros are available for financial aid in the PREE 5000 program (Building Energy Rehabilitation Program) in municipalities with a social demographic challenge.
Applications may be submitted in the Autonomous Communities through the IDAE from the date established in their calls until December 31, 2023
How can you benefit?
Applications may be submitted in the Autonomous Communities through the IDAE from the date established in their calls until December 31, 2023.
Among the eligible actions are:
- Improvement of the thermal envelope (integration of BIPV, building-integrated photovoltaics, as well as improvements in insulation).
- Improvement of the energy efficiency of thermal installations, such as the replacement of conventional energy with solar thermal energy.
- Improvement of lighting installations.
The amount of the basic aid contemplated in the program for actions in complete buildings, will be for the type of improvement of the envelope of 50%, actions to improve thermal installations of 40% and in the case of energy efficiency improvements in lighting installations the aid will be 20%.
All this considering the possibility of additional aid if the criteria of energy efficiency, social criteria or criteria of integrated actions are met.
The buildings will have to be in the so-called “demographic challenge municipalities” and which are defined as municipalities with up to 5,000 inhabitants and non-urban municipalities with up to 20,000 inhabitants in which all their singular population entities are up to 5,000 inhabitants.
